Next Level Mentoring Groups
Our Next Level Management Mentoring Groups are for those alumni who are moving from individual contributor to management, or have goals to do so in the future. This transition has always been challenging and is even more so after COVID. Over a series of facilitated conversations you will discuss: models of management, creating a personal network to help advise your career and life decisions, transforming entry-level skills and strengths into strategic management abilities, managing a remote or hybrid team, building employee engagement, and more. You will read books and articles and watch videos and listen to podcasts to inform your thinking, engage with a group of your peers to share strategies and feedback, and receive one-on-one coaching, so that you may:
- Identify strengths and key areas of growth to move to the next level for you personally and professionally
- Share and seek out feedback on challenges and growth opportunities
- Discuss skills and strategies of effective management and leadership and how to apply them
- Create a personal development plan for what comes next, for you
Note: You will register either for an entirely virtual group, which will meet over Zoom, or an in-person group, which will meet at the Wake Washington Center.
These groups are designed for Undergraduate College alumni from 2013-2017.
Participants are expected to attend all meetings.
