Hi Deacs! I’m Erin Miller Weibel. I graduated from Wake Forest in 2006 with a major in Communication and minors in Spanish and Journalism. 

I am currently the VP, Corporate Communications at Yahoo and in that role lead our efforts to help tell Yahoo’s business story as well as advance and protect Yahoo’s reputation with press, investors, policymakers and broader communities. I’m a seasoned strategic communications leader with almost 20 years of experience, most recently at leading Gen Z jobs platform, Handshake, where I drove strategic and external communications. Prior to Handshake, I led the news communications team at Meta, was a digital comms leader at NBC News and also held communications positions at media and tech companies including Say Media, Gilt, Rodale and Conde Nast.  I reside in New York City with my husband and two young children, Millie and Wade. 

I am happy to connect with individuals looking to advance or start their career in public relations/communications, and am willing to help foster connections in the space, particularly in New York City.
