Hi, Deacs! I’m Elise. I graduated from Wake Forest in 2019 with a BA in Communication and a Minor in Psychology, and returned shortly after to complete the MSM program at the School of Business in 2020.

Since then, I’ve built my career across HR, recruiting, and operations within tech and startup environments, where I’ve had the opportunity to work on everything from people strategy to scaling teams. While I enjoy the fast pace of that work, I’m passionate about how people build meaningful, balanced lives both inside and outside of their careers.

In addition to my career, I spend a good amount of my time volunteering across initiatives focused on education, food access, and community engagement.

I’m always happy to connect (virtually or IRL if you’re in the area) whether it’s about careers in people-focused roles, startups, tech, remote work, navigating career changes, making the most of internships, or making the transition from college to career.
