Katie Wolf (’13) |Arts Administration| Winston-Salem, NC

Hi there! My name is Katie.

I work in visual arts administration serving as Chief of Staff at Reynolda House Museum of American Art and Reynolda Gardens. At Reynolda, I serve on the senior leadership team and help connect the dots between leadership, staff, and the boards of directors. I’m also an adjunct faculty member at the UNC School of the Arts, where I teach courses in arts management and personal finance for artists.

I graduated from Wake with a BA with Honors in Studio Art and a minor in Art History. I took some classes in the Business School to piece together an unofficial arts management foundation and worked and interned in as many museums and galleries as I could. After graduation, I was a Wake Forest Fellow at the START Gallery and have been thrilled to work in support of the arts at Wake Forest ever since.

Outside the institutional setting, I offer one-on-one personal finance coaching for creative professionals, helping artists understand their financial lives and creating long-term financial plans that support their artistic goals. I am also a practicing visual artist, and my studio practice informs my perspective on the economic and professional realities of a creative life. I make collage work about memory and nostalgia.

I’d love to talk with early-career creatives seeking career advice, mentorship, or a conversation about museums, arts administration, or financial planning for artists.
