Hi there! I’m Jay, a Wake Forest (’14) grad with a career built at the intersection of technology and finance. I’ve spent over a decade working in New York City across high-growth startups, management consulting, and venture capital / growth equity investing.

My path has not been a straight line. I was a pre-medical student and psychology major at Wake. I’ve worked at startups that soared and others that faltered, and I’ve experienced the shift from lean, fast-paced teams to massive global enterprises. These reps have taught me that the most critical skill anyone can develop is the ability to keep learning and stay adaptable.

I’m excited to serve as an adviser because I remember the uncertainty and weight of those formative post-grad years. Whether you are trying to start a company, weighing the pros and cons of an MBA, prepping for consulting interviews, or just trying to figure out your first big career pivot, I’m happy to be a sounding board and thought partner.
