Join us in Charlotte, NC at the Wake Forest University Charlotte Center (200 N. College Ave.) on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 9:00am – 3:00pm for Get Unstuck: The Wake Forest University Alumni Career Development Conference. This inaugural conference, hosted by the WFU Alumni Personal & Career Development Center, is for any WFU alum looking for tactical job search strategies and tools, guidance on effectively navigating transitions, community and connection with the Wake Forest network, and encouragement as they seek their next steps.

Cost to Attend: $39.00 (includes lunch and conference materials) Register before January 2, 2026 to get this early bird pricing!

Who Should Attend? This conference is for Wake Forest Alumni only. Currently enrolled students of any program are unable to attend.

Conference Details

Date & Time: Saturday, January 31, 2026, 9:00am – 3:00pm

Parking: 200 N. College St. (entrances to garage on 5th and 6th Streets); Parking will be validated at check-in so please ask for a validation sticker. Parking is only valid through the time of the event.

Location: WFU Charlotte Center located at 200 N. College St. #150, Charlotte, NC 28202

Food: Coffee, tea, and water will be provided in the morning as well as a lunch meal.

What to Bring: Materials for note-taking, business cards (if applicable!), clothing layers to adjust to room temperature, your parking garage ticket for validation.

Presenter Bios

Kristin Winkle Beck, CPLC (’97)

Kristin Winkle Beck is a recovering corporate workaholic, certified professional coach, and two-time proud Demon Deacon. She is a small-town girl who grew up in rural Ohio and migrated south to earn her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1997 and a certificate for Business Essentials in Non-Profit Leadership in 2017. She completed her certified professional life coach and group coach designations in 2019 and now spends her time leading a venture philanthropy nonprofit and helping executives and professionals make changes to find greater success and satisfaction. Passionate about helping people find and follow their purpose, Kristin is an enthusiastic coach, optimistic problem solver, and servant leader. She’s a voracious learner, networking enthusiast, and podcast junkie who has proudly called Charlotte, NC home since 2008.

Kristin spent more than 20 years successfully leading teams and business units, while managing global vendor relationships for Fortune 100 companies like Capital One, GE Consumer Finance, and Bank of America.  Skilled in growing new business units and optimizing performance with expertise in executive leadership, vendor management, operations, organizational design, communications, and marketing, she is comfortable with ambiguity, tactful at challenging the status quo, and passionate about empowering people to take action. Sharron Vogler

WFU Director of Alumni and MBA Career Development in the School of Business, and Consultant at SVP Connections

Sharron Vogler is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Alumni and MBA Career Development at Wake Forest University since April 2012. In this role, Sharron oversees career support for over 22,000 alumni and 400 MBA students, managing a team of career coaches and developing impactful professional development programs. Initiatives launched under Sharron’s leadership include an Executives in Consult program that connects MBA students with industry leaders and strategic partnerships with various university departments to enhance visibility of career services. Previous roles include Director of Market Readiness & Employment for various graduate programs and Senior Associate Director, where Sharron successfully guided students in career management and employment, achieving high placement rates. In addition to university work, Sharron operates as a consultant offering services in career coaching, resume writing, and professional development. Sharron’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Art History and Marketing from Appalachian State University.

Tiffany Tate, SHRM-SCP (’07, MALS ’11)

CEO and Founder, Career Maven Consulting

Tiffany Tate is a keynote speaker, career and leadership expert, and the Founder & CEO of Career Maven Consulting. She leads a boutique leadership development firm that partners with organizations to engage, advance, and retain mid-career professionals and emerging executives through career coaching, learning & development programs, and talent advisory.

A trusted voice on the future of work, Tiffany’s thought leadership has been featured in Forbes, CNN Business, Well+Good, The Everymom, The Muse, and a variety of podcasts. She is a sought-after speaker for conferences, leadership retreats, and corporate events, known for blending candor, strategy, and research-backed insight that inspires action.

Tiffany is a proud Double Deac, holding both her BA and MA from Wake Forest University. Her leadership and community impact have been recognized with honors including the HoneyBook 2025 Entrepreneur Award, Greater Winston-Salem 40 Under 40 Award, Triad Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals Spirit of Philanthropy Award. She also serves on several nonprofit boards dedicated to advancing gender equity and economic development.
