If you have ever found yourself wanting guidance for workplace accommodations or job searching with a disability, finding helpful resources can be a challenge. While the following list is not comprehensive, it has several helpful websites that can help you navigate the career space:

  • AskJan: the Job Accommodation Network (Jan) is a service of the U.S. Department of Labor that provides free, confidential technical assistance regarding workplace accommodations and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). It contains 1:1 consulting, an A-Z listing of disabilities and accommodations, job searching guides, and more.
  • LimeConnect: a global nonprofit focused on helping professionals with disabilities expand their networks, rebrand disability, and connect members with fulfilling jobs.
  • AbilityJOBS: this is the first and largest website where job seekers with disabilities can sort through jobs where 100% of employers are looking to hire people with disabilities.

Feel free to explore these resources, and as always, you can ask us a career question or connect with a career coach here.
